TNT STREP Lightweight Modular Edge Mat

Designed by STREP and T’NT the all new Modular Mat System in a lightweight design has been created in order to meet the demands of our clients. This mat is built with a single layer of Chafe Pro padding and multiple layers of ballistic nylon, in order to maximize rope protection but remain compact and lightweight. The layers of ballistic nylon are formed with black over yellow, which allows the user to witness when an outer layer is began to wear down. The lightweight mat is designed with all black material in order to meet the needs of our Police Tactical and Military clients. The Modular system is equipped with Velcro stripping which allows a Removable Wear Sheet (RWS) to attach to the mat.

Description

The RWS is designed to Velcro securely in place and can be exchanged if excessive wear occurs, without having to replace the main mat. The underside of the mat is equipped with a perimeter of Shoregrip which assists in positioning on smooth surfaces prior to securing. The Modular Mat System also has a molle looping system along the perimeter which allows the optional roller kit to easily attach in position utilizing non-locking carabineers, 6mm cord and 4mm prussiks. The roller kit helps to maximize efficiency with heavy raises and reduces unnecessary wear on the mat system. The Lightweight Modular Mat System is available in both 16” x 24” and 16” x 36”.
