NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Awareness & Operations
The NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue, Awareness and Operations course was designed for Rescue Technicians who are looking to develop personal skills and build safe and efficient habits. This course is an introduction to Technical Rescue and is for practitioners with limited rope rescue experience. Participants are encouraged to actively engage with a hands-on approach to build fundamental skills and refine techniques employed by their teams.
NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Technician
Our NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Technician course prepares responders to safely and effectively perform complex rope-based rescues in challenging environments. Built around the competencies outlined in NFPA 1006, this hands-on program develops advanced skills in technical rigging, patient packaging, high-angle rescue, and mechanical advantage systems. Participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and operational proficiency required to manage real-world rescue scenarios while meeting recognized professional standards.
