CMC Double Clutch TTRS Kit

The Clutch is smooth and intuitive, allowing rescuers to haul with ease and lower with control. Innovative features make the CLUTCH ideal for TTRS including the rotating ratcheting sheave, Anti-Panic brake, force-limiting overload protection, and integrated becket. By hauling and lowering with two Clutch devices simultaneously, technicians can share the load across both rope systems and reduce the risk of single rope failure. If such a failure does occur, twin tension has the advantage of limiting shock and extension by transferring the load to an already stretched and loaded rope.

The Double CLUTCH TTRS Kit now includes the Squid for side-by-side operation of two rope hardware devices. This configuration allows a single operator to manage both Clutch devices at the same time for better shared tension. While the Double Clutch TTRS Kit can be deployed in a variety of ways, bringing two devices together in this Double Clutch Technique offers a hauling/lowering system that meets best practices, minimizes failure risk, and offers the potential to reduce personnel requirements.
