Constant Protection and Maximum Security
The Petzl ASAP LOCK is a specialized mobile fall arrester that moves freely along the rope without manual intervention, following the user during both ascent and descent. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the device locks instantly to stop the fall.
- Integrated Locking Function: Allows the user to immobilize the device on the rope to minimize the fall distance.
- Wind Resistance: The lock function prevents the rope from being blown upward in high-wind environments.
- Drop-Resistant Design: The connection arm ensures the device remains attached to the lanyard when passing intermediate anchors.
Simple to Use and Effective
Designed for efficiency in the field, the ASAP LOCK can be installed or removed at any point on the rope. It is intended for use with an ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber to allow the user to work at a distance from the rope and protect the rope during dynamic forces.
